Partnerships in Ethiopia
Groundwork for collaboration
A senior Sulabh delegation visited Ethiopia to build partnerships in sanitation, menstrual hygiene, and social development. The team held high-level meetings with the Ministries of Health, Education, Water and Energy, Urban and Infrastructure, and Women and Social Affairs, as well as the Addis Ababa Mayor's Office, the Addis Ababa Water and Sewage Authority, and the Indian Embassy.
Discussions covered current menstrual hygiene practices in Ethiopia, including the use of reusable cloth, and the team presented Sulabh's work in Menstrual Hygiene Management. These engagements lay the groundwork for collaboration on sanitation and inclusive progress in East Africa.
