Proof of work

South Africa pilot projects

Through our partnership with Sulabh International, GRF has helped launch pilot WASH initiatives in South Africa — with two projects going live in January and March. These pilots were developed in collaboration with established local organisations already active in the region, including in the women's empowerment space, and are designed as the foundation for future scale-up across South Africa and other African countries.

The initiative has earned early government-level engagement, including with South Africa's Minister of Traditional Affairs and Cooperative Governance, the Consulate General, the Ambassador, and awareness at the level of the Deputy President's office.

We do not just provide aid, we help communities become self-reliant and resilient for generations to come.
